3 Most Reliable Signals for High-Converting Outreach

Outbound isn’t dead.

The reality is that only lazy outbound that relies on “spray and pray” has gone extinct. Outbound itself is alive and well.

The path to conversion success is signal-based outreach.

At AiSDR, we send nearly 200K emails and LinkedIn messages per month, booking 1,500 meetings for 250+ customers in B2B SaaS. This drives around 1,500 meetings monthly.

One pattern has emerged: Responding to buyer signals doubles, if not triples, conversion.

When you reach out to someone who’s already showing intent or curiosity, your reply rates jump. And after trying out dozens of signals, there are 3 that reliably deliver stronger conversions.

Signal #1: Website visitors

Website traffic is one of the strongest intent signals you can get if you can get enough website traffic.

This approach works best if you see at least 10,000+ visits per month, primarily from North America (for data and compliance reasons). If you’re not there yet, you’ll need to invest in SEO, audit your website, and take steps to improve its site visibility

Once you’ve cleared this hurdle, there are two main ways to leverage website visits:

  • High-intent page views: Focus on visitors to your pricing, demo, 1v1 comparison, or case study pages. These are buyers in research or decision mode.
  • Repeat visits: Prioritize people who have visited your site three or more times. Repeat visits signal higher intent.

RB2B, Warmly, and Vector are some of the top tools for turning site traffic into meetings, but you’ll need additional tools for ICP matching, enrichment, and sequencing. This adds to complexity and setup time.

Or you can use AiSDR, which runs this entire sequence from visit to enrichment to outreach in one place.

Signal #2: LinkedIn content engagement

The beauty of LinkedIn content engagement is that it doesn’t rely on website traffic or search engine optimization. Instead, you’re tapping into social activity and people already interacting with content in your space.

There are 3 targeting paths to run here:

  1. Your content: Reach out to people who like, comment, or share your posts.
  2. Competitor content: Engage users who interact with posts by your competitors. They’re already interested in your field, so if you can explain how your product is different or better, you stand a chance of a conversation.
  3. Influencer content: Find prospects engaging with thought leaders in your space and show how your solution supports that same vision.

These signals mean the prospect is already aware of your space. This head start leads to faster, more relevant conversations.

You can run these campaigns with tools like Captain Data, Trigify, or PhantomBuster. But just like you need extra tools for engaging website visitors, you’ll also need extra tools for enrichment and sequencing here.

Or you can use AiSDR to run everything from end to end.

Signal #3: LinkedIn profile visits

This signal is frequently underused, but it works.

It works similarly to website visits, but unlike web visits, leads are 100% identifiable. You know exactly who’s checking you out.

If you’re active on LinkedIn, your profile traffic can be just as high as your site’s. And anyone who visits your profile already knows who you are, making them much more likely to respond to messages from you.

We’ve seen 3–5x better reply rates compared to cold outreach when messaging recent profile visitors.

The tools are the same as above, but again: timing is everything. Whether you use external tools or run it all through AiSDR, the key is to reach out within hours of the visit.

Results

Each of these signals works, but none of them matter if you’re slow to act.

Speed is the multiplier here. If you wait 24–48 hours to follow up, your window of opportunity may close.

Signal-based outreach isn’t a gimmick. It’s precision:

  • You’re not cold spamming.
  • You’re not spraying and praying.
  • You’re not pitching absolutely cold.

You’re responding to real buyer behavior.

And when you combine that timing with clear messaging and clean targeting, your chances of booking a meeting go way up.

AiSDR can help you run all three of these strategies on autopilot, at scale, and with messaging that converts.
