5 AiSDR Plays to Grow Your Pipeline by 60%

Get 5 plays you can run with AiSDR to build your pipeline

“We need to grow pipeline by 60% next year, but we don’t have the budget for increasing headcount.”

This is something I frequently hear during demo calls. 

When I do, I explain that while AiSDR won’t generate that extra 60% pipeline for you (yet), you can add it to your team. To borrow an analogy from the realm of football, AiSDR won’t be your star quarterback, but it can step up as your reliable running back.

Here are the outreach plays you can run with AiSDR to grow your pipeline.

  • The goal: Grow pipeline by 60%
  • The tactic: Run 5 specific outreach plays in tandem with AiSDR
  • The result: Automate outreach and free your team for other tasks

Play 1: Consolidate your software

Consolidating software subscriptions into a single sales tool is one easy way to save or win back budget. 

Here’s a possible SDR toolkit:

This toolkit costs $2,221 per sales rep. If you have a sales team of 5 people, you’re looking at over $10K. Even if you remove the ZoomInfo subscription, this kit is still more expensive than AiSDR.

In comparison, AiSDR starts at $750 per 1,000 emails per month, with discounts reducing the cost per email ~33% if you commit to higher volume or subscription length. And there’s no extra charge for more seats. 

Play 2: Low intent inbound

One of the challenges of handling inbound requests is getting a follow-up sent in under 10 minutes. But imagine you’re cranking out timely follow-ups only to learn most of your leads have low buyer intent.

In other words, you’re working hard, but not seeing results. Still, the follow-ups need to get sent, but wouldn’t you rather delegate this if you had the chance?

This is where you can plug AiSDR into your sales.

Decide which assets and webpages indicate high intent and which show low intent. Then you can automate AiSDR to reach out to any leads interacting with low-intent assets while you tackle any high-intent requests.

Divide. Conquer.

Simple as that.

Play 3: New territory outbound

If you’re a new start-up looking for rapid growth or a larger company planning to expand to a new market, AiSDR is invaluable at executing your outbound playbook.

There are several ways you can use AiSDR in this regard:

  • A/B testing – Different markets respond differently to the same email framework. AiSDR makes it easy to mix and match frameworks for audiences.
  • Localized emails – AiSDR is language agnostic, so you can send emails in any language.
  • Lookalike search – AiSDR’s AI Prospecting can search for lookalike leads in new markets that resemble your current customers.

Play 4: Double-team with a power-dialer

AiSDR currently doesn’t offer AI Calls, and we don’t plan on offering them in the near future.

But if calls are part of your strategy, you can combine AiSDR with a cool power-dialer like Orum or Nooks.

Your general strategy might look something like this:

  • AiSDR deals with low intent inbound and new territory outbound (i.e. Plays 2 & 3). Whenever a lead shows high engagement, mark the lead for calls.
  • Use Orum, Nooks, or some other platform to handle your calls.
  • Send text message follow-ups with AiSDR.

While AiSDR and your power-dialer prospect and message leads, you work on strategic tasks until it’s time for Play 5.

Play 5: Escalate booked meetings like you would a hand-raiser

Every time AiSDR gets a meeting booked for you, AiSDR will escalate it.

The best way to think about this is to approach it like a “hand-raiser” inbound request. Then all you have to do is engage the lead like you’d engage other leads.

The Result

AiSDR isn’t a perfect solution, but we’re doing our best to get it as close to that as possible.

Still, AiSDR is doing a great job at:

  • Running email outreach
  • Automating LinkedIn outreach
  • Merging many tools into one platform

On its own, AiSDR might not score you that extra 60% of pipeline. But by running the plays highlighted above, you’ll free up your other playmakers for higher-value endeavors. 

And together, that might unlock the 60% you’re looking for.
