Last month, I talked about how reducing the time of a sales call to 20 minutes can significantly increase your win rate. Because when it comes to sales, time is a hugely important factor. 

Today, I want to show you how AI can help bring you qualified leads and reduce the time you need to spend on cold outreach down to 12 minutes. 

Case in point: I launched a campaign in AiSDR, let it run on autopilot, and got a meeting request in the same hour. 

Here’s what I learned:

  • The tactic: Send timely outreach using social signals and AI autopilot 
  • The result: First meeting booked in 12 min

Step 1: Finding the right audience

My first move was to set up a campaign to target the audience of a top voice in our industry. Specifically, people who actively engage with their LinkedIn posts

I follow a handful of thought leaders in sales, so I picked a person who is vocal about growth hacks and talks about innovative sales tools. 

The aim is to quickly find prospects who show signs of a problem AiSDR can solve for them based on the topic-specific content they engage with. 

So done. Moving on.

Step 2: Narrowing down

Once I fed the link to the LinkedIn profile I wanted to follow, AiSDR started tracking the influencer’s posts. So whenever they share something new, AiSDR tracks that post and adds people who like it into my campaign.

To make sure my messages only reach people with purchase authority, I tweaked the audience filters a bit to be in line with our ICP (CEOs and Founders, Sales Directors, RevOps, CMOs).

Step 3: Sending the first email

In just 30 minutes after the post is published, AiSDR sends a well-crafted, deeply researched email to every lead who showed interest in the post.

The AI uses the messages from the post as a conversation opener and drops an email while the memory of the prospect engaging with it is still fresh. 

This lets me act on the lead’s intent without delay, which increases the likelihood of a positive response. Because time is of the essence.

Step 4: Tracing the lead’s journey

AiSDR’s HubSpot integration lets me see if my message sparked any interest across the leads I reached out to.

Pushing the leads from the platform into the CRM allowed me to see that the prospect I just messaged opened the email and checked out the website.

Step 5: Booking a demo

12 minutes later… 

The lead booked a demo. Just like that.

Result

Within one week, I received 9 responses and had 5 meetings booked just from this one campaign.

And I launched a few more: one targeting a competitor and the other my own posts, all using social signals

What makes this type of outreach successful is the understanding that on LinkedIn, people openly discuss what’s in front of their minds in terms of business challenges and priorities. And AiSDR is notoriously good at capturing and building on these signals of buyer intent
